제목 Phase Behavior of A Symmetric Polystyrene-block-Poly(4-vinyl pyridine) Copolymer with Metal Chloride
초록 The change of domain spacing and TODT of PS-P4VP with various amount of cadmium chloride (CdCl2) was studied by rheology, SAXS, and TEM. With the addition CdCl2, TODT increased greatly. For instance, the disordered PS-P4VP was transformed into lamellar microdomains at small amounts of CdCl2 ([CdCl2]/[4VP] = 0.02). However, the domain spacing is decreased. This might be due to physical crosslinks induced by the coordination between CdCl2 and nitrogen atoms in the 4-position of pyridine groups (inter-chain coordination).
