제목 Structural Investigation of Naphthalenediimide-Bithiophene (NDI-T2)-Based n-type Polymers via Side Chain Engineering for Efficient All-Polymer Solar Cells
초록 The naphthalenediimide-bithiophene based n-type polymer, P(NDI2OD-T2) has been widely studied for organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) and all-polymer solar cells (all-PSCs) due to their high electron mobility. To understand the infleunce of side chains on all-PSCs properties, a series of NDI-T2-based n-type polymers with side chains of 2-hexyldecyl (2HD), 2-octyldodecyl (2OD), and 2-decyltetradecyl (2DT) was synthesized. We performed DSC, UV-vis absorption spectroscopy, and GIXS to investigate the effects of the length of side chains on their crystalline structures. The P(NDI2HD-T2) exhibited the noticeable crystalline behaviors with face-on orientation as compared to P(NDI2OD-T2) and P(NDI2DT-T2). Then, we proved that P(NDI2HD-T2) could be more efficient candidate for acceptor materials of all-PSCs than P(NDI2OD-T2) by fabricating all-PSCs with various promising donor polymers such as PPDT2FBT, PTB7, and PTB7-Th, leading to PCEs of 6.11%.
