Modification of Pigment for Color Filter |

Development of superior pigments in manufacturing color filters was determined the high transmittance and high contrast ratio. To prevent from aggregation of pigment particles, we experminated the effect of surface modification of blue pigments. We found that new types of hybrid composites consisted copper-phthalocyanine and silica synthesized and the particles were modified with various silane coupling agents. These results indicate that modified hybrid particles were investigated their chemical structure, surface morphology, optical characteristics, and dispersion stability, relatively. |
