제목 Self-designed electrospun TiO2-SnS2 nanofibers as an efficient visible light photocatalyst with enhanced activity and durability in Cr (VI) reduction
초록 Self-designed core-shell form of TiO2-SnS2 nanofibers are fabricated by electrospinning process followed by the sulfidation under hydrothermal process. The in-situ process of Ti and Sn pressures with PVP were spun as nanofibers under high voltage and through the thermal decomposition, the as-spun fibers were constructed as TiO2 core fibers with the SnO2 shell wall. With the function of high electronegativity and high surface area, TiO2-SnS2 nanofibers were extracted the Cr3+ results from the Cr(VI) reduction.The ATR-FTIR results induced the effective reduction rate of Cr(VI) were possibly due to the proton-coupled electron transfer process. The self-designed SnS2 shell wall on TiO2 has promotes the photo adsorption on the catalytic surface and effectively separate the photogenerated charge carriers. This strategy induces the facial route to construct the visible active core-shell nanofibers, which can be used as a photocatalyst, and water purification applications.
