All-inorganic halide perovskite nanowires have recently emerged as promising materials for optoelectronic applications owing to the excellent optical properties, stability and charge transport properties. Here, we synthesized CsPbBr3 nanowires via a hot injection method with various ligands including oleylamine/octylamine and oleylamine/hexylamine. These nanowires show high aspect ratio with a width of ~10 nm and a length of ~um. We studied the effects of ligand chain length on optical properties. Nanowires with oleylamine/octylamine exhibit photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of ~50%, which is 1.7x higher than PLQY of nanowires with oleylamine/hexylamine (~30%). These nanowires are expected to show great potential in various applications such as solar cells and field-effect transistors. |
