제목 Preparation of Vegetable oil based acrylate and UV-Curing Properties
초록 Lately, there is an increasing tendency to use biomass as a recyclable resource, and several derivatives of vegetable oils are known as suitable for use in polymerization.  
In this study, the epoxidation of vegetable oil was performed using formic acid and hydrogen peroxide. Then, the acrylated vegetable oil resins were prepared from the epoxidized vegetable oil, acrylic acid, hydroxyethyl methacrylated maleate.  
The yield of epoxidized vegetable oil and acrylated one was 92% and 82%, respectively. Interestingly, 90% of unsaturated vegetable oil groups were converted to epoxy groups, and 80% of the epoxy groups were converted to acrylate groups.
UV curing was carried out at 370 nm using a DMPA as photoinitiator.
The stability and behavior of the UV cured film will be discussed in more detail.
