제목 | Development of microfluidic devices using a 3D-printer |
초록 | Micro total analysis system (μTAS) has been developed for the biological application to realize the sample-in-answer-out analysis and on-site detection. A total integrated microsystem was developed which was contained of solid phase extraction (SPE), PCR, and immunochromotographic strip zone for multiplex colorimetric detection of S. aureus and E. coli O157:H7 incorporated with a portable genetic analyzer. We developed stereolithographic printing-based microfluidic devices using a poly(ethylene glycol)diacrylate (PEG-DA) resin to overcome the limitations of photolithography-based microchip fabrication. A 3D-printed DNA extraction chip was fabricated to demonstrate the printability of a high-resolution, transparent and biocompatible microfluidic device using PEG-DA-258 resin. The 3D-printed PEG-DA-258 microdevices demonstrated a potential to use in the various applications including clinical diagnostics, cell-based assays, drug discovery and organ-on-a-chip. |
