For the preparation of electrochemical DNA biosensor, materials based on Au or graphite (or carbon-nanotube-related composites) have been widely studied due to the conductivity and well-developed surface-modification (e.g., SAM layers). In this presentation, we will discuss on the preparation of conductive porous ceramics by anodization and its application for electrochemical DNA biosensors. Especially, immobilization of ssDNA on anodic porous niobium oxide by selective terminus adsorption will be explained in detail. |
