| 초록 | We report on the refractive indices of several DNA solutions in the visible and near-infrared ranges. Abbe refractometry was used to measure the refractive indices of DNA in water, DNA in toluene, and DNA-CTMA in n-butanol for three different lengths and three different concentrations of salmon DNA. Combinations are indentified which are optimal for use as waveguide cores in silica optical-fiber based waveguides, on the basis of refractive index and viscosity. |
