제목 Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy of DNA-CTMA films
초록 We report on our terahertz spectroscopic investigation of DNA-CTMA films grown by spin coating on fused silica and glass substrates. By directly measuring the electric field amplitude waveform, we extract the refractive index (n) and extinction coefficient (k) simultaneously and independently, without resorting to a Kramers-Kronig analysis. The refractive index of DNA-CTMA films lies in the range of 6 to 8, while the extinction coefficient is less than 0.5 within our measurement range of 5-50 cm-1. Our study shows that DNA-CTMA is a promising low-loss, tunable material with potential applications in the terahertz science and technology.
