제목 Design of Material Property of Resin to Control the Dimensional Accuracy of Injection Molded Parts
초록 Mold shrinkage is inevitable in injection molding and it causes parts shrinkage. Subsequently, part shrinkage affects the dimensional accuracy of the products. Mold shrinkage depends upon injection molding conditions as well as the material properties of resin. In this study, material property of resin has been designed to control the dimensional accuracy of injection molded parts. In order to control the dimensional accuracy, material property of resin has been designed using the commercial software. And for the verification of the designed resin, computer simulations were conducted through injection molding analysis software. In order to verify this method, experiments of injection molding were performed. The results of experiments and computer simulations were similar. Consequently, it was concluded that the method conducted in this study can be utilized to control the dimensional accuracy of injection molded products.
