제목 Studies on the Synthesis and Characterization of Novel Oxirane Energetic Monomers
초록 In an effort to increase the overall energy content of energetic binder systems used in propellants and explosives, novel energetic monomer containing molecular explosives with high energy content and epoxy functional group has been developed in our research for the future use in energetic polymer. A novel energetic monomer and its model compound were synthesized and characterized. It consists of a dinitroazetidine group with high explosive performance and an oxirane group. Although, the synthesis is complicate and with high cost, it is still significant for designing novel high performance energetic polymers. Ring opening polymerization of these monomers will be further studied by using the activated monomer mechanism.
