Various studies are being conducted to control microorganisms in the air due to the worldwide spread of infectious diseases. Microorganisms act as pathogens, but they also have beneficial effects on human health, such as intestinal microbes. As such, it is necessary to study the effects of environmental microorganisms on humans because microorganisms have various effects on humans. In this study, elementary schools were selected as a target site, and airborne microorganisms were collected by filtering through filters and air pumps. In order to analyze all the collected microorganisms, next-generation sequencing (NGS) and quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) were used. By analyzing the data, it was confirmed how the disinfection work performed after the pandemic affected the microbial community in the indoor air. |
