제목 Synthesis of gelatin hydrogel microspheres in microfluidic systems
초록 Hydrogels are three-dimensional cross-linked polymer network that responses with environmental stimuli such as temperature, pH and electric field. They are widely used in tissue engineering and drug delivery system. In particular, gelatin is a fibrous protein that is derived from collagen and forms the hydrogel. Because of the biocompatibility and nontoxic, gelatin is widely used in various fields of applications such as pharmaceutics, cosmetics. And it is wall materials in manipulation microcapsules. In this study, we present a simple approach for the synthesis of mnodisperse gelatin hydrogel having a narrow size distribution in droplet-based system using flow focusing. Furthermore, we analyze the physical property of gelatin hydrogels according to the temperature gradients.
