제목 Flexible and transparent hard coating materials base on polysilsesquioxane and acrylic polymer
초록 The hard coating materials with highly flexibility attract attention for foldable device application. Also glass like high transparent and hardness properties are required those coating materials. So the cycloaliphatic epoxy functionalized oligosiloxanes (CEOS) were synthesized by sol gel system, the coating materials prepared phthalic anhydride and acryl polymer resin via cross-linking system to improve hardness and flexibility. The coating curing system is dual curing with UV irradiation and heat. In the first step, UV irradiate to ring opening of epoxy group and crosslinking phthalic anhydride. And second step is thermal curing to achieve fully crosslinking with epoxy group, phthalic anhydride and acryl polymer resin. The cured coating film has high transmittance of up to 91% at 500nm wavelength above neat glass transmittance, and coating film hardness properties are up to 8H of pencil hardness and 0.63 Gpa of nano-indentation.
