제목 Improved Performance of Organic Photovoltaics with Additive in the Interlayer for Nano-patterned Structure
초록 Recently, the periodic nano-structured designs between active layer and interlayer are adopted to improve the performance of organic photovoltaic devices (OPVs). The nano-patterned interlayer of inverted OPVs (IOPVs) can improve the light harvesting and expend interface contact area. However, commonly used materials for interlayer in IOPVs are hydrophilic inorganic compounds.  
In this study, we fabricated inverted IOPVs with nano-patterned interlayer, which was modified by introducing amphiphilic additive. This additive can change surface energy and surface potential of interlayer. The changes was observed with measuring contact angle and electrostatic force microscopy (EFM). Therefore, the series resistance was decreased and the electron affinity of interlayer material was changed. As a result, by introducing additive in interlayer, performance of OPVs was improved.
