Organic solar cells (OSCs) have a lot of advantages such as solution processable, and large-scale fabrication. For the high performance of OSCs with these advantages, halogenated solvent and additive systems should be used because of their strong solubility and distribution properties of nano-structured materials. However, due to their low stability and hazard properties that trade-off relationship with high performance, OSCs have difficulties of commercialization. Therefore, eco-friendly solvent systems are indispensable for commercialization of OSCs. In this study, OSCs were fabricated with eco-friendly solvent systems. However, it has low solubility than halogenated solvent systems. we introduced additives for better phase separation in eco-solvent systems. They increased charge transport by phase separation through nano-scale morphology control. As a result, performance and stability of fabricated OSCs were enhanced in eco-friendly systems to control the nano-scale morphology. |
