제목 | Partial regeneration of Ni oxide based spent catalyst for catalytic oxidation of toluene |
초록 | The effect of physicochemical regeneration procedures on the catalytic activity of Ni oxide based spent catalyst has been investigated. Spent catalyst was pretreated with thermal gas and different acid aqueous solutions to remove contaminants accumulated on the surface and in the pore network of the catalyst. Several characterization methods such as XRD, BET, SEM, EDX, and ICP were employed to compare the physicochemical properties of the spent and its pretreated catalysts. The results indicated that the acid aqueous pretreatment greatly improved the catalytic activity of the parent catalyst.
