Microbe detection using by IDA (interdigitated array) electrode |
초록 |
Electrochemical biosensor has been typically improved to measure change of electrochemical signal which is caused by biofilm formation on metal electrodes. Although the biosensor can effectively detect biofilm formation, mature biofilms are difficult to control and cause serious problem. Initial control of microbial attachment is more effective and important. It has been reported that IDA (interdigitated array) electrode can obtain sensitive and clear signal. This microelectrode consists of generator electrode and collector electrode by micro scale interval. Characteristic of its structure can help enhance redox reaction and enable to measure microbial attachment as quickly. This study is focused on rapid change of electric double-layer capacitance of IDA electrode via monitoring of microbial attachment. |
