Development of efficient photoelectrodes based on bismuth vanadate and titania for photoelectrochemical N2 reduction to ammonia and photo-assisted supercapacitors |
초록 |
Storage of solar energy and solar-driven ammonia reduction to nitrogen are highly desirable to meet the challenges of the energy crisis and environmental pollution. Here we designed photoelectrodes based on bismuth vanadate and titania for photoelectrochemical N2 reduction and the photo-assisted supercapacitors. Various electrochemical methods such as electrodeposition and anodization were used in the preparation of these photoelectrodes, and process parameters were optimized. The hybrid electrode displays the highest PEC performance and ammonia conversion efficiency compared to the individual constituent under visible light irradiation and can used as efficient electrode material for high-performance photo-supercapacitors for the direct storage of solar energy. |
