Synthesis and Characterization of Prepolymers Containing A Dinitroazetidine Energetic Group |

Prepolymers with chain extending groups at chain ends have been used as polymeric binders in the field of plastic bonded explosives. In addition, preparation of novel high energetic prepolymers has become more important. Therefore, we designed the prepolymer with the -OH group in both chain end, and the functional group in the chain which reacted with the energetic materials in the post reaction. In this study, well defined hydroxyl terminated energetic polyepichlorohydrin (PECH) was synthesized by modification of PECH with dinitroazetidine. |
