Preparation and Subsequent Nucleophilic Substitution of Energetic Polyether Prepolymers |

The method to synthesize polyether prepolymers by cationic ring opening polymerization of epibromonhydrin (EBH) and copolymerization of EBH and tetrahydrofuran was studied in our research. To investigate the reaction conditions of the energic prepolymers, the corresponding model prepolymers were prepared by subsequent nucleophilic substitution of the polyether prepolymers with pyrrolidine in this research. The prepolymer poly(EBH-ran-tetramethylene glycol) was utilized to more effectively control the energy content and the consistency of energy in the final energetic prepolymers, and this method could restrain the generation of the ring oligomers in the reaction. |
