제목 분자 시뮬레이션을 이용한 방향족 화합물 분리용제의 개발
초록 This study examines a search for a new solvent for extractive distillation using molecular simulation, and the performance of the proposed extractive distillation process using the solvent is compared to conventional process. Unlike other solvent search procedures, the proposed solvent finding technique relies on a chemical structure similarity between the solvent and the extracted material without depending on a solvent database. A BTX separation from naphtha reformate was compiled with the newly developed solvent for the performance examination. The simulation of the proposed extractive distillation process demonstrates a significant performance improvement in energy saving and investment cost over conventional process.
