제목 | 첨가제 NaSal가 투입된 CTAB용액의 유변학적 물성변화와 미세구조전이 거동에 대한 연구 |
초록 | We considered the effects of sodium salicylate (NaSal) on the rheological and optical properties of aqueous cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) solutions. TheCTAB concentration was fixed at either 0.005M or 0.05M, both of which were far aboveits critical micelle concentration, and the molar ratio, [NaSal]/[CTAB], was varied from0.1 to 10. The experimental result showed that rheological responses of the presentsurfactant solution were influenced strongly by concentrations of the constituentsubstances and temperature. Specifically, 0.005M CTAB solution that underwent shearthinning at low shear rates exhibited shear thickening at high shear rates for the molarratio ranging from 0.5 to 3.0. In some cases, the solution experienced shear thinningagain at even higher shear rates. The observed rheological behaviors were clearly dueto the flow-induced microstructure evolution in the solution. Meanwhile, for 0.05MCTAB solution, the onset of shear thickening was not observed and instead the stressplateau appeared at a moderate shear rate. |
