제목 Synthesis of poly(styrene-b-methyl methacrylate) using a plug flow reactor system by anionic polymerization.
초록  The possibility of customized plug flow reactor system with in-line static mixer for anionic polymerization was evaluated. Polystyrene and poly(methyl methacrylate) homopolymers and poly (styrene-b-methyl methacrylate) block copolymers were prepared by using diphenyl hexyl lithium initiator in plug flow reactor via anionic polymerization. The flow rates have been varied to control molecular weight and to optimize the reaction conditions for block copolymerization. In addition, BF3 catalyzed-cationic ring opening coupling reaction of polyepichlorohydrin with ω-epoxy-terminated polystyrene, which was prepared by anionic functionalization using plug flow reactor system, was carried out. Poly(glycidyl azide-b-styrene) block copolymer was obtained by azidation reaction of poly(epichlorohydrin-b-styrene) block copolymer with sodium azide. And the structure and thermal properties of the resulting block copolymers were characterized by ATR, 1H-NMR, DSC.
