Fluorescence labeling is a very useful tool to study the nature of living cells and understand how these structures are affected by alien virus. Due to high quantum yield, high molar extinction coefficient and broad absorption, organic fluorescent dyes and inorganic quantum dots have been used in the field of immunofluorescence labeling. But, cyto-toxicity of inorganic quantum dot is fatal for the living cells or animal experiments. While the solution of organic fluorescent materials show excellent fluorescence efficiency, but their solid state loses fluorescence efficiency. In order to overcome these problems, here, we report a new method to produce a non-toxic, stable, and high fluorescence efficient solid nano-aggregates for bio-applications. |
