제목 Variously Luminescence of Unsubstituted Polythiophene Nanoparticles via Fe3+-Catalyzed Oxidative Chemical Polymerization in the Aqueous Medium
초록 Polythiophene nanoparticles were directly prepared by Fe3+-catalyzed oxidative chemical polymerization of thiophene emulsion in aqueous phase. Polymers were initiated by oxidant using the FeCl3/H2O2(catalyst/oxidant) combination system. At the optimized reaction conditions, monomer percent conversion was 99% and particle size was about 30nm. The emulsion emitted red color on λUVmax=400nm. Moreover, as a funtion of the amount of hydrogen peroxide, the nanoparticles have shown various and broad emitting colors from red region to blue region. Also, advanced processability is expected as well in both aqueous media and various organic solvents.
