Most materials of the bone fixation device are used by stainless and titanium alloy. But these materials occur stress shielding problems that need to removal operation by a year. Therefore, Magnesium alloy based biodegradable bone fixation device is developed. But Mg-based material have a limitation that generates a critical amount of hydrogen gas, which can occur embolus. In this study, Ca-Sr-P/PLA-Hap coated Mg-Zn alloy based bone plate was developed for biodegrading rate control. Especially, the Microstructure and composition of Ca-Sr-P/PLA-Hap coated Mg-Zn alloy plate were evaluated by SEM, EDS, XRD, and FTIR. And, hydrogen gas generation rate and pH variance by biodegradation. Furthermore, cell viability and proliferation were evaluated by the MC3T3-E1 cell line. And In-vivo biocompatibility was performed by rabbit for a month. image and histological analysis were observed by micro-CT and H&E staining. |
