Characterization of metal oxides/Ti electrode material for the oxidation of phenol |
초록 |
Titanium substrate was coated with mixed metal oxides of ZrO2, SnO2, RuO2 and IrO2. These coatings were prepared by thermal decomposition of the metal chlorides and alkoxides and dip-coated on titanium substrates at 450 oC. The properties of these electrode materials were investigated using thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). The properties of prepared electrodes were investigated using TGA, XRD, SEM to compare physical characterization of electrode and potential window by CV to observe electrochemical characterization. CV measurements indicated a oxidation of phenol on the Ti/metal oxides electrode. |
