제목 Thermal insulation and mechanical properties of polyurethane composites with hollow glass microspheres
초록 In this study, polyurethane composites with 5 different hollow glass microspheres (HGMs) were prepared. The effect of HGMs on thermal insulation, thermal stability, dimensional stability and mechanical properties was investigated. Thermal insulation performance of PU composites was measured using a transient hot bridge method and was analyzed with theoretical models. The incorporation of HGMs enhanced thermal insulation of composites, and thin walled HGM had greater capacity to increase insulation performance. It also appeared that thermal stability, dimensional stability, and mechanical properties of PU composites were improved with increasing the content of HGMs in PU composites.
