Preparation of liposomes from copolymers conjugated DSPE |

A number of studies on the structure and properties of copolymer to prepare liposomes as various carriers have been performed. In this study, the copolymers comprised of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate(HEMA), poly(ethylene glycol) methacrylate(HPOEM) and 3-mercaptopropionic acid(MPA) were synthesized. The structures and physical properties of synthesized copolymers were confirmed by NMR and GPC measurement. Then, we prepared liposomes from amide bond between the copolymer and amine groups of 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine(DSPE). The obtained results suggest the liposomes prepared from the copolymers conjugated DSPE will be used as carriers for delivery of protein drugs. |
