Organic-inorganic metal halide perovskites have attained tremendous interest due to their unique and excellent optoelectronic properties. The perovskite solar cells have recently shown skyrocketing power conversion efficiency to 25.7%, becoming comparable to silicon photovoltaics. One of the advantages of perovskites is the comprehensive controllability of nanostructures and surface morphologies of perovskite materials based on molecular interactions, which also provide rich chemistry of nanostructural construction. Herein, we present several nanostructure and surface engineering strategies for perovskite devices to improve optoelectronic property and operational stability. Mainly, we produce multi-dimensional perovskite nanomaterials and employ structure-tailored nanomaterials in optoelectronic devices such as solar cells and photodetectors. We believe our work would provide a widely utilizable method and an enormous promise for perovskite-based optoelectronic applications. |
