제목 NO and CO sensing properties of TeO2-decorated SnO2 thin film at room temperature
초록 We report on the sensing properties of TeO2-decorated SnO2 thin film as a p-n heterojunction sensor with enhanced efficiency in sensing of NO and CO gases at room temperature. The SnO2 thin film was fabricated by sputtering method on patterned interdigitated electrodes followed by thermal oxidation. The TeO2 nanoparticles was deposited onto SnO2 thin film by the co-arc-discharge method. The TeO2 distribution was controlled for optimization of the sensor performance. The sensing properties of the SnO2-TeO2 sensor were investigated using oxidizing gas of NO and reducing gas of CO. However, both NO and CO gases showed the oxidizing behavior at room temperature. The gas response and recovery time were improved under continuous UV irradiation. The related sensing mechanism was examined.
