Catalytic conversion of greenhouse gases (GHG) to hydrogen |

The main greenhouse gases such as CH4 and CO2 can be converted to value-added chemicals via syngas production including clean hydrogen fuel, where various technologies have been reported including reforming reactions or chemical looping (CL) technologies. In the present study, Ni-based heterogeneous catalysts with an enhanced thermal stability by using multicore-shell structures were investigated for syngas production. The efficient modification methods by adding structural promoters or by preparing multicore-shell structures such as Ni-Co@SiO2 systems are reported for a dry reforming and chemical looping reactions. |
