The polyimides (PI) have been attractive materials in development of functional polymeric materials since their highly thermo-, chemical, mechanical stability. In last decade, polymeric materials have been required to endure more harsh conditions for application in fabrication process of electronic devices or in use replacing ceramic and metallic materials. The polyimides are very promising materials, when they are formed as precisely controlled fine structures. In this work, we provide several examples which are nano-scale coating on conducting polymer particles, nano-porous membranes with 50-100 nm sized controlled pore, and stacking of PI particles. Through performed nano-structured PI, usefulness in various applications is obtained, such as high dielectric properties for thin film capacitors, electric capacitance with high energy density, catalysis, and surface property control. |
