Organic-inorganic hybrid solar cells that combine a mesoporous scaffold, an orgnometal trihalide perovskite light absorber and an organic hole transporter have exhibited high efficiencies over 12 %. However, they require processing temperatures of up to 500 ℃ to sinter the mesoporous metal-oxide scaffold. To fabricate low-temperature processable perovskite solar cells, we introduced sol-gel processed metal oxide electron transport layer and planar heterojunction structure. We successfully fabricated planar heterojunction perovskite solar cell devices through low-temperature solution process. Photovoltaic performances were characterized and showed efficient power conversion efficiency. |
