Numerical analysis of direct contact membrane distillation for hollow fiber module |
초록 |
Membrane distillation(MD) is a separation process, which higher vapor pressure components are evaporated in mixed liquid solution through hydrophobic membrane. MD driving force is basically vapor pressure difference between both surfaces of membrane, and can be obtained at even 40 to 50 ℃ which is much lower than water boiling temperature. Hence, recycling of waste heat or solar energy can be applied MD to maximize the energy utilization. In this study,DCMD for hollow fiber module were interpreted using the "COMSOL" software. The variables for the system were operating temperatures and flow rates of feed and cold solutions as well as length and diameter of membrane module. |
