Synthesis of iron oxide/carbon nanotube nanocomposite for NH3 detection at room temperature |
초록 |
A nanowire sensor of carbon nanotube (CNT) decorated by iron oxide fabricated by the arc discharge method with varying content of iron. The morphology and structural properties were examined by FESEM, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and current-voltage measurements. The NH3 sensing property of the CNT-iron oxide nanocomposite was examined. The gas sensing properties for NH3 showed the maximum response at room temperature, and thus revealed a possibility of using for room temperature gas sensing. We examined the effect of iron oxide incorporated in the CNT networks. The UV light effect on the gas sensing performance was also examined |
