제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Semi-crystalline Sulfonated Poly(arylene sulfide nitrile) Block Copolymer
초록 High proton conductivity and excellent stability were essential for ideal proton exchange membranes (PEMs). Recently, various polymer structures such as block copolymers, comb-shape polymers, and cross-linked polymers which have well-defined morphology are studied to investigate the effect of morphology on fuel cell performance. Among them, block copolymers are regarded as the best structure due to their well-defined phase separation results in excellent proton conductivity under low relative humidity condition. Our group reported sulfonated poly(arylene sulfide nitrile) (SPSN) random copolymer which has excellent stability due to sulfide linkage and nitrile group. In this study, adopting the concept of block copolymer, we synthesized SPSN block copolymer to form nano-phase morphology. Furthermore, we carried out thermal annealing after cast membrane to induce semi-crystal structure. Morphology formation behavior was characterized using to verify effect of morphology on PEM properties.
