제목 Hydrothermal Synthesis of PbTiO3 Powder
초록 Lead titanate PbTiO3 is a perovskite type ferroelectric material with interesting dielectric, pyroelectric and piezoelectric properties. PbTiO3 forms a series of materials as Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 (PZT), (Pb,La)(Zr,Ti)O3 (PLZT) when combined with other oxides. PbTiO3 ceramics have a very small aging rate of dielectric constant. Therefore PbTiO3 ceramics would be of great promise as a stable piezoelectric material for high temperature and high frequency applications. Also such piezoelectric ceramics have been applied to actuators, transformers, ultrasonic motors, ultrasonic devices, and various sensors, and their application fields are greatly increasing. Conventional methods for preparing PbTiO3 powder include the chemical coprecipitation method, the sol-gel method and the hydrothermal method. Advantages of the hydrothermal method include the ability to create crystalline phases which are not stable at the melting point. In this study, Lead titanate PbTiO3 powders have been synthesized using hydrothermal synthesis precursors method. The produced lead titanate powders were characterized using XRD, SEM, FT-IR and TGA-DTA.
