Synthesis and Properties of a HNTs-based Fluorescent Nanohybrid by the combination of Surface-Initiated RAFT Polymerization and Coordination Chemistry |
초록 |
A fluorescent nanohybrid complex comprising of halloysite nanotubes (HNTs), poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (PHEMA), and europium ions (Eu3+) was successfully synthesized by the combination of surface-initiated reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (SI-RAFT) polymerization and coordination chemistry. The structure, morphology and fluorescence properties of the Eu3+ coordinated complexes were investigated by respective physical and spectral studies. FT-IR, XPS, FE-SEM and EDS analyses suggested the formation of the HNTs-g-PHEMA-Eu3+ nanohybrids. TGA scans further demonstrated the grafting of PHEMA on HNTs surface. The optical properties of HNTs-g-PHEMA-Eu3+ nanohybrids complex were investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy. |
