제목 A simple hot-air quenching method for inducing swift nucleation and morphology control in planar perovskite solar cells
초록 Although planar perovskite solar cells show promising aspects such as a simple fabrication process, several problems limit their high power conversion efficiency (PCE). This device structure through one-step spin coating method has proven to be challenging due to the complex crystal-growth behavior of perovskite films. Various sizes of nuclei can form different grain sizes and it is possible to make pin-holes resulting shunt pathways. Therefore, it is important to control the nucleation of perovskite films. We introduce the hot airflow in planar CH3NH3PbI3-xClx perovskite devices during a nucleation step of the perovskite. Upon introducing heated air, we stimulate uniformly distributed nuclei growth for pin-hole free perovskite layers. A perovskite solar cell with the maximum power conversion efficiency of 19.0%, which exhibits 14.3% maximum power point (MPP) efficiency, is demonstrated. The hot-air quenching method can provide a new approach to make pin-hole free perovskite layers.
