제목 Preparation of High-Performance Reverse Osmosis Nanocomposite Membranes Using a Synergistic Combination of Carbon Nanotubes and Graphene Oxides
초록 Polyamide membranes prepared with carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphene oxides (GOs) (PA-CNT/GO membranes) were prepared by interfacial polymerization. The dispersity of CNT and GO in water was increased when they were dispersed together, resulting in improved dispersion properties in the polyamide membrane matrix. PA-CNT/GO membranes  could be prepared with up to 0.2 wt% of CNT and GO with well-dispersed state. The improved dispersion properties in water were systematically investigated by maximum dispersion evaluation, UV-Vis spectra studies, and zeta potential measurement. Dispersion states of CNT and GO in the polyamide membrane matrix were observed by SEM, TEM, and Raman mapping analysis. The PA-CNT/GO membrane exhibited the larger water flux values than polyamide membrane without any CNT and GO (PA membrane) by over 70 %, maintaining high enough salt rejection value (over 95 %). In addition, the PA-CNT/GO membrane showed the superior chlorine and compression resistance than even polyamide membrane with only CNT or GO (PA-CNT or PA-GO membrane), which originated from high dispersity and synergistic effects of CNT and GO.
