제목 | Highly Ordered Mesoporous Cu-Co-Ce Composite Catalysts for Water Gas Shift Reaction |
초록 | H2 gas, as sources for fuel cell, mainly is produced by reforming reaction of hydrocarbon or alcohol. When this reaction is processing, CO is formed for by-product. CO poisons catalyst layer of a fuel cell membrane and hinders performance. WGS(Water Gas Shift) reaction is needed because of reducing CO and obtaining additional H2. WGS reaction is represented as below. [ CO + H2O(g) -> CO2(g) + H2(g) ] Co catalysts show excellent WGS catalytic activity, but they also have been known for effective catalyst for the methanation reaction. [ CO+3H2-> CH4 + H2O ] Meanwhile, Cu catalysts show excellent WGS catalytic activity and suppress methanation. CeO2 is high oxygen storage capacity and good redox performances. Thus, We synthesized composites of three components. Ordered mesoporous metal oxide catalysts were synthesized through nanocasting method by using KIT-6. Material properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption and electron microscopy. |
