Characteristics of Parylene C Photooxidation 파릴렌 C 고분자의 광산화 특성 |
초록 |
Parylene shows excellent homogeneous and conformal coverage without pin-hole or micro-crack resulting in promising candidate for packaging material. It is especially true for medical implants involving an interface with living tissue and it is well known that the Parylene C is one of the most bioinactive polymers. The surface modification of Parylene could help to increase the resistivity of protein adsorption, improving the biocompatibility. Moreover, it could be applied to other field which desire the functionalized surfaces of such polymers as well as medical implants. The chemical reaction, plasma treatment and photooxidation are used as common surface modification method. In this study, we observed the effects of ultraviolet photooxidation of Parylene C, which was relatively simple and easy to handle. The structure and surface morphological change with time were measured. |
