Networking and mobility of neuronal cells on patterned polyelectrolyte multilayer coating |

To study the behavior of cells on the functional groups attached to the polymer surface was frequently used to study the interactions between cells. In our lab, studying cellular interactions on polymeric thin films have been conducted with PC-12 cell line and hippocampal neuron cell. Using primary culture cells may have an opportunity to observe actual cellular mechanism. We present our study of neuronal cell on the micro patterned polymer coating which have the cell-adhesive and cell-resistant surfaces. Here, we present the effect of the film's architecture and geometry of micro-patterns on the neuronal cell networking and mobility. |
