제목 Surface and Mechanical Properties of Poly(BA-co-MMA) for Releasing Antifouling Agents
초록 To make a insoluble antifouling matrix, Poly(butyl acrylate-co-methyl methacrylate) was prepared by emulsion polymerization using BA and MMA monomer. Modified PDMS was also used as a channeling agent for releasing antifouling agents in the matrix. The insoluble antifouling matrix system was prepared from blending Poly(BA-co-MMA) and channeling agents by homogenizer. The channeling agents were incorporated into Poly(BA-co-MMA) in order to retain uniform micropores typically. Also, it was observed to identify micropores which was formed to release antifouling agents in the modified system by SEM. As compared to the unmodified matrix, the Poly(BA-co-MMA) containing channeling agent exhibited the remarkable changes in both water contact angles and mechanical properties. As a result of this, we confirmed that the modified matrix system had a potential ability to control an antifouling agents releasing.
