제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Photo Curable Hyaluronic Acid Derivative for Drug Immobilizing: Application for Metal Surface Coating
초록 To immobilize drugs such as epidermal growth factor and transforming growth factor-β as growth factor, photo curable hyaluronic acid (HA) derivative was synthesized. Ethylene diamine was introduced to add the amine residue to carboxylic group of hyaluronic acid using by water soluble carbodiimide, 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC). And photosensitizing functional group, N-(4-azido-benzoyloxy) succinimide (ABS), was introduced to HA derivative which has substituted to amine residue. To confirm the synthesis was successful, FT-IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy and Zeta sizer analysis was performed. The best of photo-curing rate was 3 minutes irradiation at 10% solution. Protein releasing test using bovine serum albumin was performed during 2 weeks by Bradford assay. Cytotoxicity and relative cell proliferation tests of with added HA-ABS derivatives were performed on 3T3L1 fibroblasts. No inhibitory effects of HA-ABS derivatives were found during cell growth.
