Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, reduced form (NADH) is an important coenzyme for biochemical redox reactions.An electrochemical method is one of the NADH regeneration methods in order to use unlimited NADH. However, direct electrochemical reduction of NAD needs overpotentials andgenerates enzymatically inactive forms.Generally NAD analogs have some advantages such as lower redox potential compared with NAD. In this study, we produced NAD analogs reduced by an direct electrochemical method without any redox mediator. |
