제목 Crosslink Density and Mechanical Properties of Networked Silica – Reinforced Elastomer Compounds
초록 The effects of networked silica on the crosslink density and the mechanical properties of elatomer compounds were investigated. The dynamic mechanical properties were measured as a function of temperature, and crosslink density of the compounds was also investigated in using Flory-Rhener equation with Kraus correction. The actual crosslink density was not significantly changed by an addition of the filler. But, the filled compound swelled less and modulus was greater by an addition of the filler. Networked silica-filled compounds showed greater tensile strengths than conventional precipitated silica-filled compounds.
